Three Premier League managers have been nominated for the September 2026 Barclays Manager of the Month award.
The Premier League has now opened the vote to supporters, giving fans the chance to select one of the three nominees before the deadline at 12:00 BST on Monday, September 28.
However, the public vote will not be the only factor in deciding the award.
Supporters’ votes will be combined with those of a panel of football experts before the September Manager of the Month is confirmed next week.
Fabian Hurzeler
Hurzeler’s Brighton enjoyed an impressive September, remaining unbeaten across three Premier League matches.
The Seagulls recorded two wins and one draw, scoring nine goals and conceding just once.
Brighton began the month with a draw against Leeds United before producing a 5-0 victory over Coventry City.
They then secured one of the month’s biggest results by defeating defending champions Arsenal 3-0.
The victory was Brighton’s third consecutive season beating the reigning Premier League champions, according to the league.
Those results left Brighton third in the Premier League table at the end of September.

Andoni Iraola
Iraola guided Liverpool to an unbeaten September as the Reds recorded two victories and one draw.
Liverpool opened the month with a 1-0 win over Ipswich Town before drawing 0-0 with Fulham.
They then finished the month with another 1-0 victory, this time against Bournemouth.
Liverpool’s defensive record was the standout feature of their month, with the team not conceding a single Premier League goal across their three matches.
The three goals scored by Liverpool were enough to earn seven points from a possible nine and keep them in touch with the leading sides.
Enzo Maresca
Maresca is also nominated after Manchester City maintained their perfect Premier League record.
City won all three of their September matches, taking their overall league record to five victories from five games.
They began the month with a narrow victory over Coventry City before defeating Manchester United in the Manchester derby.
City then produced an eight-goal thriller against Sunderland, winning 5-3.
The three victories gave Manchester City a goal difference of plus four for September and kept them as the only team with a 100 per cent Premier League record.
Maresca also became only the sixth manager to win his first five Premier League matches in charge of a club.

Who will win the award?
Hurzeler, Iraola and Maresca all enjoyed unbeaten September campaigns, but their teams produced those results in very different ways.
Brighton combined attacking quality with defensive discipline throughout the month.
Hurzeler’s side scored nine goals across their three matches while conceding just once, including an impressive 3-0 victory over Arsenal.
Liverpool, meanwhile, built their September campaign around defensive consistency.
Iraola’s side kept three consecutive clean sheets, securing seven points from a possible nine without conceding a single Premier League goal.
Manchester City took a different approach as Maresca’s side maintained their perfect league record.
Three victories from three matches, including a derby win over Manchester United and an eight-goal thriller against Sunderland, kept City at the top end of the table.
The contrasting records make for an interesting shortlist, with each manager having overseen a successful month for very different reasons.
