The UFC returns to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 11, with one of the year’s most-anticipated fight cards.

The iconic venue, home to the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, has hosted countless famous bouts aside from the long-awaited rematch between Conor McGregor and Max Holloway in the night’s main event.

Another thrilling match-up scheduled for Saturday includes fan favourite Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett facing the dangerous Benoit Saint-Denis.

Top bantamweight contenders Cory “Sandman” Sandhagen and Mario Bautista are also set to meet in a pivotal clash.

Here, Sport Just Sport previews UFC 329’s biggest fights and predicts who will leave the T-Mobile Arena with their hand raised.

Bantamweight: Sandhagen vs Bautista

Sandhagen is finally returning to action and will look to strengthen his case for another shot at UFC bantamweight gold when he faces the in-form Bautista.

Sandman enters the contest as one of the division’s most accomplished contenders, boasting victories over several top-ranked opponents and a reputation for dynamic striking and footwork.

Bautista, meanwhile, arrives on an impressive winning streak and will aim to secure the biggest victory of his career.

While Bautista’s momentum makes him a dangerous opponent, Sandhagen’s experience, striking variety and ability to manage range look likely to prove the difference over three rounds.

Suggested bet: Cory Sandhagen to win

Lightweight: Saint-Denis vs Pimblett

With Pimblett looking to continue his rise through the lightweight division, his bout with Saint-Denis is one of the most intriguing match-ups on the card.

Pimblett enters the fight unbeaten in the UFC and eager to prove he belongs among the division’s elite.

Saint-Denis, on the other hand, brings an aggressive, high-pressure style and a well-rounded skill set that has established him as one of the most dangerous lightweight contenders.

Although Saint-Denis has shown that he possesses the tools to trouble Pimblett, the Scouser’s confidence, grappling and ability to capitalise on key moments should see him edge a closely contested fight.

Suggested bet: Paddy Pimblett to win

Welterweight: McGregor vs Holloway

Saturday’s highly anticipated McGregor vs Holloway rematch is at the forefront of fan excitement for UFC 329.

The two stars first fought in August 2013, when McGregor won by unanimous decision.

However, McGregor has not made an octagon appearance since a broken leg derailed his career in 2021, with the Irishman also withdrawing before a scheduled comeback at UFC 303 in 2024.

McGregor had already struggled with stamina before his injury thanks to a fighting style that focused on rapid, heavy bursts of power which caused him to tire in later rounds.

Ultimately, the combination of injury and limited recent experience weighs the odds heavily in Holloway’s favour, the American fighter being renowned for his endurance and championship cardio.

Suggested bet: Max Holloway to win
