“Placed last Wednesday in the antepost markets, the foresight shown is something quite incredible. Starting with Stratusnine in York’s Dash Handicap at 8/1, the sprinter was sent off the 10/3 favourite and duly delivered.
“Next came Kon Tiki at Ascot. The Jane Chapple-Hyam filly was victorious in the Valiant Stakes at 6/1 in the coupon, sent off far shorter at 7/2. Amazing Journey proved an inspired selection at 10/1 in the International Handicap, running out a commanding winner at just 4/1 before Kalpana landed the goods in the feature King George to land a return of £26,081.10, courtesy of a boost of over £8,600.
