CM Punk and Jey Uso faced off ahead of their clash for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship on “Saturday Night’s Main Event” on November 1.
Uso, who won a “Battle Royal” to fight for the belt, kicked off the latest episode of “Raw”.
He revealed that he has been receiving plenty of advice from his cousin Roman Reigns and twin brother Jimmy Uso, adding that he does not care about what anyone thinks.
“Right now, I don’t give a damn what they think about me. Yeah ’cause it’s just me, Uce,” Uso declared.
Punk’s music then interrupted Uso who was riling up the crowd.
Punk praises Uso
As the CM Punk chants echoed in the arena, the “Voice of the Voiceless” praised his opponent and said that Uso is finally focused on himself.
“Let’s talk about tonight, right now. I’m happy for you. You’re finally listening to you. You’re not listening to all the noise; Jimmy, Roman,” Punk said, who was initially poised to fight Seth Rollins for the championship before he vacated the title due to an injury.
Punk also acknowledged that they are friends, and pointed out that Uso has “got what it takes.”
“Your actions last week answer a lot of questions for me. I know you got what it takes. I watched you throw your brother over the top rope,” Punk said, recalling that Uso eliminated his own twin brother during last week’s “Battle Royal”.
“Jey’s just showing everybody, including me, that he’s got what it takes… But how far are you willing to go?” he questioned.
Punk then proclaimed that he needs to be a champion again, declaring that he knows how far he is willing to go to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship.
The tense segment ended with Uso stating that he will show Punk who the real best in the world is.

Fans want LA Knight
Uso’s “Battle Royal” win last week sparked criticism online, with fans complaining that he is always being given undeserved opportunities.
Instead, they wanted LA Knight to battle for the vacant championship.
“It’s hard being an LA Knight fan. He deserves a shot to be world champion,” a fan stated on X.
“Putting Jey over Knight is an obvious sign of favouritism within the creative team,” another fan complained on YouTube.
Knight showed similar frustration during “Raw” before his televised match, grabbing a fan’s sign that says “We want LA Knight, not Jey” and showed it to the camera during his entrance.
Also during the show, Knight vowed in a backstage interview that he will not quit, and will come after the winner of the championship match.
