Liverpool have confirmed Turkish Airlines as their new front-of-shirt sponsor in a landmark five-year agreement worth more than £300million.
The deal will see the Turkish airline replace Standard Chartered from the beginning of the 2027/28 season, bringing an end to the bank’s 17-year association with the Reds.
Football analysts say the agreement is the most lucrative front-of-shirt sponsorship deal in Premier League history.
Turkish Airlines to replace Standard Chartered
Turkish Airlines will become Liverpool’s main club partner from June 2027, with its branding appearing on the men’s, women’s and Academy teams’ shirts.
The agreement is reportedly worth around £60million per season, representing a significant increase on Liverpool’s current arrangement with Standard Chartered.
The existing deal is worth around £50million per year and is due to expire at the end of the 2026/27 campaign.
Liverpool’s commercial growth has allowed the club to command one of the biggest sponsorship agreements in world football, with the new deal underlining the global appeal of the Reds.
The partnership will also mark a major change to Liverpool’s famous shirt, although supporters will have to wait until next season before seeing Turkish Airlines’ branding on the front of the kit.

Liverpool have history with Turkish Airlines
The new partnership also carries an obvious connection to one of the most memorable moments in Liverpool’s modern history.
The Reds famously lifted the Champions League trophy in Istanbul in 2005 after their remarkable comeback against AC Milan.
Turkish Airlines has highlighted its connection to the club and the city as part of the new partnership.
Liverpool chief commercial officer Ben Latty described the announcement as a “milestone” for the club, while also paying tribute to Standard Chartered’s contribution over the past 17 years.
Standard Chartered will not completely disappear from Liverpool’s commercial portfolio, with the bank set to remain involved as a global partner once the shirt sponsorship ends in 2027.

Another major commercial boost
The agreement represents another significant step in Liverpool’s efforts to increase their commercial revenues.
The club recorded £703million in revenue for the financial year ending in May 2025, highlighting the scale of Liverpool’s commercial operation and their growing financial power.
The Turkish Airlines agreement will provide another substantial source of income as Liverpool continue to compete with the Premier League’s biggest clubs both on and off the pitch.
With the deal worth more than £300million across five years, Liverpool believe they have secured the biggest shirt sponsorship agreement in Premier League history.
For supporters, however, the financial figures will only tell part of the story.
The 2027/28 campaign will mark the beginning of a new era on Liverpool’s famous red shirt, as Turkish Airlines takes over from one of the club’s longest-standing commercial partners.
