Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are all in action as the FA Cup fourth round takes centre stage this weekend.
With a place in the fifth round at stake, scheduled for March 7 and 8, the pressure is mounting across the country.
Here, Sport Just Sport writer Alex Rhodes takes a look at some of the televised games in the fourth round, providing some predictions and suggested bets.
Hull City vs Chelsea, Friday 7:45pm
Liam Rosenior makes his return to the MKM Stadium for the first time since Hull dismissed him in 2024.
Hull currently sit fourth in the EFL Championship and are pushing for a return to the Premier League for the first time since the 2016/17 season.
Chelsea have dropped 17 points from winning positions in the league, which will provide encouragement to Joe Gelhardt, who has scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 24 Championship matches this season, the most prolific campaign of his career so far.
The Englishman’s first match in charge of the London side was a resounding 5-1 win over Charlton Athletic, and he will be expecting to take another EFL scalp.
Prediction: Chelsea to win 2-1
Wrexham vs Ipswich Town – Friday 7:45pm
This is the second meeting between the sides in the competition, with Wrexham winning 2-1 at home in the third round of the 1994/95 season.
Phil Parkinson’s side currently sit three places behind Ipswich in the Championship and are winless in their last three home games.
The Tractor Boys have been eliminated from 10 of their last 12 fourth-round ties, while their only defeat in the competition against Welsh opposition came against the Red Dragons in the 1995 fixture.
Wrexham are aiming to reach the fifth round for the first time since the 1996/97 season, when they beat Peterborough United 4-2.
Prediction: Over 2.5 goals in the game

Aston Villa vs Newcastle United – Saturday, 5:45pm
Aston Villa will be hoping for a repeat of their 2-0 victory at St James’ Park on January 25.
In five of the previous six seasons in which the teams have met in the FA Cup, one of them has gone on to reach the final.
Villa boast a strong record against the Magpies, having knocked them out of the competition four times and last suffering defeat in 1952.
Eddie Howe’s men face a tough test at Villa Park. They have lost 10 out of their last 13 away league fixtures and have failed to score in the last eight.
Prediction: Aston Villa to win 3-2
Liverpool vs Brighton Hove Albion, Saturday, 8pm
Brighton have failed to register a victory since defeating Manchester United in the third round on January 11, suffering three defeats in their last five matches.
Liverpool have won four of their last five games against the Seagulls, including a 2-0 victory at Anfield earlier this season.
This will be the seventh meeting between the sides, with three wins apiece. Brighton claimed the most recent victory in 2023.
The Reds have the most fourth-round eliminations (13) in the Premier League era, suffering defeat in six of their last nine attempts.
Prediction: Liverpool to win and score over 2.5 goals
Macclesfield FC vs Brentford, Monday 7:30pm
Macclesfield produced one of the greatest upsets in the competition’s history in the third round, beating holders Crystal Palace, a team they sit 117 places below in the English football pyramid.
The National League North (sixth tier) side are looking to become only the second non-league club to beat two top-flight teams in a single FA Cup campaign since Millwall in 1913.
Keith Andrews’ side are in scintillating form, having recorded positive results against Aston Villa and Newcastle and held Arsenal to a draw in recent weeks.
The Bees have never progressed beyond the quarter-finals of the competition and have not reached that stage since 1989.
The club and supporters will feel this represents their best chance in three decades.
Prediction: Brentford to win 2-1
